The Story So Far

  • I'm a writer, photographer, consultant. Age 51. My father was a reporter and editor. Then he became something other than that. He died February 8, 2010 at 87. He was widowed in 2003. His decline started a little earlier. His sister died of Alzheimer's.

Alan, I wonder if you have had a chance to view Phillip Toledano's book-Days with My Father?
You being a photographer, I thought about you and wondered if you had taken any photos of your dad during this time? The last picture of Phillip himself breaks my heart, you can really see the toll it has taken on him and that he really loved and made the most of his time with his father. Give it a look if you haven't already and I'd be curious to hear your opinion.
